The soap

A packed cup of grated Castile, a cup of washing soda, a cup of borax. Melted, stirred, left overnight. A small scoop in the wash. Built for NWI tap water, not a showroom.

The place

A Munster garage. Not Chicago factory polish. If you live here, you are the first circle. Family and friends first. The neighborhood after the wash holds up.

The mark

An eagle as a packing-house stamp. Copper, bone, and charcoal. American West, same ink as the flag.

Every bucket is mixed in a Munster, Indiana garage. Not imported detergent. Not a factory line. American-made soap for American washers, starting with this neighborhood.

Not a store yet.

This is the working page while the first buckets go out. If the clothes come clean, Hanyak comes to the block. Until then: family, friends, and a five-gallon lid.
